Terms of service

Awamori Trade Hub UK (the “Website”) is operated by Sake Business Laboratory, Inc. (“SBL”) as an online platform providing information about Awamori products and related matters and facilitating trade enquiries and purchase requests from businesses in the United Kingdom.
The Website is primarily intended for bars, restaurants, hotels, retailers, wholesalers and other businesses involved in the alcoholic beverage trade in the United Kingdom.

  1. Use of the Website

By using the Website, users agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations and industry requirements relating to their use of the Website and any transaction involving alcoholic beverages.

  2. Transactions Through the Website

Submitting a purchase request, trade enquiry or expression of interest through the Website does not, by itself, constitute a binding sales contract.
Following an enquiry or purchase request, relevant business information, trading conditions, product availability, delivery arrangements and other necessary details may be verified before a transaction proceeds.
Importation, storage, fulfilment, delivery and certain other UK-based logistics and transaction-related services are carried out through SBL's UK logistics partner, Wine Logistics.
Depending on the particular transaction, the contracting party, invoicing entity, payment recipient, delivery arrangements and other terms may be governed by the relevant order confirmation, invoice, terms provided by Wine Logistics or other terms separately agreed between the relevant parties.

  3.  Business-to-Business Service

Transactions conducted through the Website are currently intended primarily for business-to-business(“B2B”) customers.
Businesses requesting or purchasing products are responsible for ensuring that they hold and maintain any registrations, licences, approvals or other legal requirements necessary to purchase, store, sell, resell or serve alcoholic beverages in the United Kingdom.

  4.  Product Information

SBL makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information relating to products, including product names, producers, bottle sizes, alcohol by volume, ingredients and product descriptions, is accurate.
However, actual products may differ from information displayed on the Website due to producer specification changes, label changes, batch changes, stock availability or other circumstances.

  5. Prices

Product prices, taxes, delivery charges and other applicable costs will be displayed or communicated through the relevant product page, quotation, order confirmation or other transaction documentation.
Delivery charges, fulfilment charges and other associated costs may be charged separately from the product price.

  6. Availability

The appearance of a product on the Website does not guarantee continuous availability.
Following an enquiry or order request, UK stock levels, supply conditions and other relevant factors may be checked before a transaction is confirmed.

  7.  Alcohol and Responsible Trade

The Website deals with alcoholic beverages.
Users and purchasers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations concerning the purchase, sale, resale, storage, advertising, supply and service of alcoholic beverages in the United Kingdom and any other relevant jurisdiction.

  8. Intellectual Property

All text, photographs, images, videos, logos, designs, product descriptions and other content appearing on the Website are owned by or licensed to SBL, the relevant distilleries or other legitimate rights holders.
Such content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or otherwise used for commercial purposes without prior permission from the relevant rights holder.

  9. Changes or Suspension of the Website

SBL may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website, its products, services or functionality where reasonably necessary.

  10. Changes to These Terms

SBL may amend these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in law, trading arrangements, services orother relevant circumstances.
Updated Terms & Conditions will take effect when published on the Website.
