Born on Kume Island, surrounded by the clear blue of sea and sky, Ao / Blue is an Awamori inspired by the island’s serene beauty.

True to its name, its cool blue-toned label gives the bottle a calm and elegant presence.

At 15% ABV, it might seem like simply a lighter version of Awamori. But Ao / Blue is far more than that.

Its alcohol content is about half that of standard Awamori, yet achieving its distinctive flavour requires even greater care. From crafting the base spirit to carefully balancing it after dilution, every detail is refined so that its gentle sweetness and mellow richness come together beautifully at 15% ABV.

Enjoy it on the rocks, or semi-frozen for a refreshing, sorbet-like texture. Mixed 1:1 with soda water, it makes a light and refreshing serve.
